Phonos: 40 years of electronics in Barcelona

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the electronic music laboratory Phonos presents an exhibition in collaboration with the Museu de la Música de Barcelona.

The show provides an overview of the history of Barcelona's electronic music scene and Phonos which remains a pioneering centre for the experimentation, composition and dissemination of electro-acoustic music.

Synthesisers, tape recorders, samplers and other old and modern electronic instruments can be seen and heard in the exhibition which also recalls the characters behind the history of electronic music in Barcelona.
