11 February - 29 May 2011. The spring exhibition at the Louisiana museum is dedicated to the work of Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) and examines how the artist related to contemporary historical and political events after the end of the second world war.

Comprising approximately 50 oil paintings, a large number of drawings, lithographs, ceramic works and posters dating from 1944 to his death in 1973, as well as archival documents relating to the artist, the exhibition attempts to add new insights in to what inspired Picasso artistically, politically and personally.

Tues-Fri 11.00-22.00. Sat-Sun 11.00-18.00.
