23 January - 16 May. The Pompidou Centre presents Planet Manga, a festival featuring Asia's manga comic strips.
Aimed at young people, the four month event is a fun opportunity to engage in an eclectic programme of comic-related activities.
There are writing workshops, encounters with comic book authors including Keiko Takemiya and Mono Hagio, and a film series exploring the world of the Yokai, magical characters from Japanese mythology.
Readers can enjoy the library's 2,500 manga comic books and there is a manga costume/play parade called Cosplay.
