Post Picasso: Contemporary Reactions

The responses of contemporary artists to the work of Picasso are examined in this exhibition.

40 years after his death, it evaluates Picasso's role in contemporary art and assesses his ongoing significance and influence on modern painters.

The almost 60 works on display reflect the different ways contemporary artists have reinterpreted and contested the meanings behind Picasso’s art.

The exhibited works are by some 40 artists from around the world were painted for the most part during the last 15 years.
