Until 31 August 2010. All summer long, regardless of the weather, the old puppet theatre in King's Garden stages free performances for children. One of Denmark's oldest theatrical venues, this oasis of green in central Copenhagen has provided the backdrop for a fun family day out for generations of Danes and visitors alike. With open-air seating for up to 220 people, this year's productions are 'The Barber's Shop' and 'The Lost Sheep'.

The Baroque period influenced the French-style design of the garden's layout, while close to the puppet show stands the famous statue of Hans Christian Anderson.

Admission is free. Performances daily, except Monday: 14.00 & 15.00
