Ron Mueck

The Fondation Cartier presents new sculptures by Australian artist Ron Mueck, in what is his first major European show since the last Fondation Cartier exhibition in 2005.

The London-based artist is known for his hyperreal sculptures portraying the tiniest of details from the human body, such as strands of hair and wrinkles, usually on a scale that is either smaller than real-life or out-size.

A former model maker, his meticulous works draw attention to the various stages of human life, from adolescence to old age.

The exhibition features nine recent sculptures, including three whose creation can be viewed in a new film by Gautier Deblonde.

Tues 11.00-22.00, Wed-Sun 11.00-20.00
