Rotterdam Design Prize

19 Sept 2009 - 10 Jan 2010. At the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, the most cutting-edge designers in Holland battle it out to win the much coveted Rotterdam Design Prize 2009. Showcasing the creativity and innovation of ten top Dutch designers, whose work over the last two years has been accepted out of a total of 170 submissions, an international panel of judges come together to choose the winning entry. The exhibition displays the very best in creative, contemporary design and explores the ways in which recent changes in modern society, including a global recession, have influenced the designers' work and its inevitable 'follow-on' products.
