This classic omedy of deception and seduction by Irish author Oliver Goldsmith was first performed in London in 1773 and its popularity with audiences has endured ever since.
The story centres around two well-to-do young London men, Marlow and Hastings, who arrive in the countryside in search of romance with females of the lower classes.
Things take a comic twist after the pair are tricked into believing their wealthy host Mr Hardcastle is a humble innkeeper, and his daughter Kate a maid.
Directed by Conall Morrison, starring Jon Jenny, Rory Nolan, Marty Rea and Caroline Moraghan.
