19 Jul-12 Oct 2008. The Museum der Moderne dedicates this exhibition, entitled Les Grands Spectacles III, to strengthen the bonds between music and visual arts. On show are scores, photographs, videos, video installations and records. The exhibition starts with the radical break caused by the avant-garde movements at the beginning of the 20th century with the 19th century bourgeois culture, dominated by the cult of genius, classical instruments, musical harmonies and melodies.
