22 Oct-26 Nov 2006. The Hugh Lane Gallery hosts free concerts at noon every Sunday, featuring music of all genres. Composers of new pieces are often present to introduce and discuss their work. October sees tenor Paul McNamara accompanied by Grainne Dunne on piano performing Schumann Leider (22 Oct) and the Haydn Trio Eisenstadt playing Mozarts Trio in B flat Major KV 502 and Trio in C Major KV 548 (29 Oct). In November the Concorde Contemporary Music ensemble perform new works by Elaine Agnew and Fumiko Miyachi (5 Nov), while the Callino Quartet with John Lynch on viola play Mozart Quintets (12 Nov). The Association of Irish Composers presents the Bridgewood Ensemble performing works by Deane, Wilson and McLachlan (19 Nov) and Mozart songs and arias are performed by tenor Robin Tritschler accompanied by Simon Lepper on piano (26 Nov). Admission free. Concerts start at 12.00 and last approximately one hour.
