30 April 2006. Ballet Ireland performs excerpts from The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty for this gala tribute to Russian composer Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky at the National Concert Hall. The highlight of the programme is the performance of Act IV from Tchaikovskys masterpiece Swan Lake, which includes Prince Seigfrieds famous pas de deux with Odile, the Black Swan. Ballet Ireland will also perform a new choreography set to music by Tchaikovsky. Admission 27-25, 10 per cent discount for Friends of the NCH. 20.00.
