Until 25 September 2005. Just one of the events celebrating the 50th anniversary of Austrian independence, this exhibition focuses on food, drink and consumerism post-1945. The exhibition in fact takes its name from the oldest soft drink brand on the European continent, Sinalco, launched in 1905. The show covers everything from post-war food brands and table manners to the first fridges and pressure cookers, ultimately exploring changes in consumer behaviour in the years following 1945.
