9 July - 30 August 2009. Marco van Middelkoop, a celebrated Dutch photographer, presents his latest exhibition: 'The Colours of Water' at The Melweg.

What makes van Middelkop's images of water unique is that most of the photographs were taken in man-made disaster areas in the US and Mexico. His work captures the myriad of colours contained in water, depending on its environment.

The Melkweg is one of the Netherlands' most well-known cultural centres, offering a programme that unites five artistic disciplines under one roof: music, dance/theatre, film, photography and media art.

Wed-Sun 13.00-20.00. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
