4-8 Sept 2006. Legendary Irish folk band The Dubliners are performing five concerts at the Wiener Metropol Theatre as part of their 2006 Its too late to stop now European tour. Originally formed in ODonoghues pub in Dublin in 1962, The Dubliners are now in their 43rd year on the road, although instrumentalists Barney McKenna and John Sheahan are the only original members left in the five-piece band. Ballad singer Paddy Reilly, who joined in 1996, is lead vocalist, while Eamonn Campbell (1987) plays guitar, 5-string banjo and mandolin. Vocalist Sen Cannon, with the group since 1982, also plays guitar. Admission 39-32. Performances start at 20.00.
