The Thinking Machine: Ramon Llull

14 July-11 Dec. Exhibition exploring the legacy of the 13th-century philosopher Ramon Llull (1232-1316) and his enduring impact on the arts, literature, science and technology.

During his lifetime, Llull's theories were admired and scorned in equal measure but recently-surfaced manuscripts reveal that his studies predate prominent work on electoral systems and computation theory by several centuries.

Llull is also credited with writing the first major work of Catalan literature, Blanquerna.

Tues-Sun 11.00-20.00 Thur 11.00-22.00.
