The Van Gogh Museum in the Hermitage Amsterdam

29 September - 25 April 2013. During its temporary relocation to the Hermitage Amsterdam, the Van Gogh Museum presents 75 works by Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) from its permanent collection.

Alongside the paintings are some of the artist's rarely-displayed letters and works on paper, as well as some items owned by Van Gogh, which together offer a glimpse into his personal life and artistic practice.

Works on show include some of his best-known pieces such as Sunflowers, The Bedroom, Almond Blossom, The Potato Eaters and The Yellow House.

The Van Gogh Museum closed for renovations on 24 September and will reopen on 25 April 2013.
