Until 31 October. With the subtitle "The Charm of Transformations" this exhibition from the costume collection of the Austrian Theatre Museum traces the importance and status of the costume through generations of Viennese performances.

It charts the changing fashions and technical developments of theatre costumes, providing an extensive overview of almost 200 years of Austrian theatre and opera history. The exhibition also provides images and archive material relating to some of the legendary actors and performers who trod the boards in a city renowned for its connection to the stage, as well as illustrating just how important costumes are as a visual theatrical tool.
