18 September 2009 - 16 January 2010. Trabajos de Campo is a photographic exhibition which explores the traditions and rural roots of Spanish culture and society through the work of Cristobal Hara and Rafael Sanz Lobato. The contrast in the work of the veteran photographers is immediately evident. Both have a markedly different way of documenting their subject matter, and the exhibition aims to highlight the most characteristic elements of their working methods and photographic style. Lobato is most well known for the 'Bercianos de Aliste' photographs (1970-1971) while Hara is celebrated for a series on bullfights 'Lances de Aldea' (1985-1989) - both subjects are represented fully in the show.
