9 Sept-11 Oct 2006. Carole Alston stars in this one-woman Tribute to A Blue Lady at Viennas English Theatre. Featuring some of Billie Holidays most memorable songs including God Bless the Child, Lover Man, Oh Where Can You Be and Please Dont Talk About Me When Im Gone, the performance highlights key moments in the legendary jazz and blues singers controversial and tragic life. Alston is accompanied by a six-piece band: Uli Datler on piano, Bernd Satzinger on bass, Herbert Pirker on drums, and a brass section made up of Alexander Wladigeroff, Sndor Rig and Martin Ptak.
