31 July-2 Sept 2006. American hit comedy show Triple Espresso A Highly Caffeinated Comedy returns to Dublins Andrews Lane Theatre for a limited run. Set at the Triple Espresso Coffeehouse, the story revolves around the reunion of three-man comic team Maxwell, Butternut & Bean to mark the occasion of Hugh Butternuts 25th anniversary as resident coffeehouse entertainer. The three reenact their disastrous gigs from the first at the Historic North Platte Rodeo to the last, where their appearance on national TV in The Mike Douglas Show marked their show business demise. The brainchild of comedians Bill Arnold, Michael Pearce Donley and Bob Stromberg, Triple Espresso was first performed in 1996 and now runs continuously in Mineappolis and San Diego, as well as touring the US and Europe.
