Concerts, lectures, picnics and educational programmes throughout the year in the heart of Oxford. The gardens have 7,000 different types of plants, making it the most compact collection in the world. The garden consists of three sections; the glass houses, the walled garden and the sections outside the walled garden which contain a water garden, a rock garden, a new black garden and autumn borders.
Just south of Oxford there is the Harcourt Aboretum, which also forms part of the university
