Vienna Ice World

City Hall Square has been transformed into a 7,000-sqm outdoor ice skating rink called Vienna Ice World.

The illuminated façade of the city hall provides the backdrop for skaters while the soundtrack features disco hits from the 1980s and 1990s.

In addition to skating, visitors can try curling at six ice curling lanes, which open from 17.00 during the week.

Those who prefer to just watch can do so in the luxury of a heated marquee where they can enjoy hot drinks and local specialities such as Tyrolean Gröstl, farmhouse bread, waffles, Käsespätzle and baked potatoes.

Skates can be hired on site.
