Until 22 December 2010. The Museum of the Vienna State Opera celebrates 140 years of the greatest opera house in the world. Significant events in the history of the opera house, including world premieres and landmark musical interpretations, are illustrated by the inclusion of set designs and authentic costumes.

The newly-opened exhibition documents the impact that Vienna's opera has had on the world. Noteworthy is the fact that every performance since 1955 can be accessed online in the museum's archive, bringing past singers, conductors and directors to life.

Tues-Sun: 10.00-18.00
