Voices of Dissent: Art in the GDR 1976-1989

16 July-26 Oct. This exhibition uses creative art works to explores the links between dissident art and power in the former German Democratic Republic or GDR. The exhibition highlights how a prodigious and fearless network of artists and musicians went underground, beyond the reach of the former socialist republic, to express their artistic creativity.
