3 September - 11 January. Copenhagen's Museum of Modern Art presents Warhol & Basquiat, an exhibition that traces the story of an unlikely collaboration between two very different artistic talents in New York.
The extensive exhibition unites the 100 or so collaborative works created by the established Andy Warhol and the rising star Jean-Michel Basquiat, over a period from 1983 to 1985.
It also includes some 65 paintings by both individuals. Basquiat began his career as a graffiti artist before turning to Neo-Expressionism. He died aged 27 in 1988, from a heroin overdose, a year after the death of Warhol.
ARKEN is situated 15 kilometres south of the capital.
