William Kentridge: NO IT IS!

12 May-21 Aug. The Berliner Festspiele presents the complete interdisciplinary oeuvre of the renowned visual artist, filmmaker and director William Kentridge.

The exhibition at the Martin-Gropius-Bau spans three decades of the 60-year-old South African artist's career, with a special focus on the creative process behind his work.

Along with his drawings, highlights include screenings of his film projects Drawings for Projection (1989-2011) and More Sweetly Play the Dance (2015), as well as the spatial installation The Refusal of Time (2012).

Kentridge recently made international headlines with his monumental frieze along the banks of the river Tiber in Rome.
